CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: 5th Annual Evidence-Based Practice & Research Conference

NorthBay Healthcare is excited to announce its 5th Annual Evidence-Based Practice and Research Conference.  This year’s theme is “A Bridge to the Future: Innovation and Technology for Healthcare Improvement.”  The event will be held on Friday, August 24th at the NorthBay Healthcare’s Green Valley Administration Center.  The keynote speakers this year is Dr. Chris Furmanski, Partner, Virtual Ventures and former Director of Innovation, Stanford Health Care.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We are accepting abstracts of completed work.  This is a great opportunity to share the important work that you are doing at your organization.  The 4 categories for abstract submission are:

  • Research Study
  • Evidence-Based Practice Projects
  • Quality Improvement/New Innovations
  • Student Capstone Projects

Dr. Tanya Scott is a nurse executive specializing clinically in Women’s Health/High-Risk Obstetrics and administratively in Nursing Informatics Healthcare Information Technology Design and Development.

Dr. Scott received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (1992) from East Carolina University and a Masters of Human Relations with an emphasis in Multicultural Organizational Development and Business Management from the University of Oklahoma in 1998 where she was recognized as the Walter Mason Graduate Student of the Year, Graduate Student Leader and Graduate Student Service Award honoree. In 2010, she was honored with a Doctorate in Humane Letters from the Eastern Theological Seminary University for her health care mission and service work in the U.S., Guatemala, Africa, and Cuba.
