Kaiser Permanente Nurse Scholars Academy sponsors the MSN program in partnership with the University of San Francisco School of Nursing and Health Professions (SONHP).
The USF MSN program is designed for working nurse leaders and focuses on the development of competencies needed to lead teams in evidence-based practice, innovation, and the delivery of compassionate care within the micro-system (unit) and larger health system.
The program is open to KP nurse leaders employed by KFH/HP in a non-represented, benefited (20+ hours) position. Interested nurse leaders should apply to the Kaiser Permanente Nurse Scholars Academy and once accepted, may be eligible for generous tuition sponsorship.
Classes are held one afternoon per week for 6 consecutive semesters. Scholars complete on-line and group work in addition to the face to face sessions. Classes begin the week of January 19th, 2020.
The Spring 2020 cohort will meet on Tuesday afternoons at the University of San Francisco Pleasanton Campus, 6120 Stoneridge Mall Road, Suite 150, Pleasanton, CA 94588. Free parking and a nearby BART station provide easy access to the campus.
