The KP Scholars Academy is partnering with the UC Davis Family Caregiving Institute to pilot the Family Caregiving Champion Certificate Program.

According to AARP, 97% of health care providers say caregivers play an important role in patient care but fewer than half of caregivers say they’re prepared for the demands.

Upon completion of the certificate program, you’ll be positioned to address the needs of family caregivers.

Qualifying KP clinicians include RN, NP, CNS, MD, DO, LCSW and chaplain roles. Applicants must be non-represented staff and receive approval of KP Scholars Academy to participate in the pilot.

No prerequisites are required and continuing education units are provided.
