Eligibility requirements for sponsorship for the Executive program - KP Nurse Scholars Academy

Applicants must meet these three requirements:
1. Must be a Northern California KFH/HP non-represented, benefited (20+ hours) registered nurse leader.
2. Must have completed at least 90 days as a regular KP employee.
3. Must get accepted into the selected University’s degree program
Doctoral candidates’ projects must advance Kaiser Permanente’ s mission for nursing leadership, practice, and research. It is strongly preferred that applicants be credentialed in a specialty area.
KP employees are only eligible for financial support for one Nurse Scholars Academy degree program at a time.
If the KP Nurse Scholar becomes ineligible for sponsorship by the Nurse Scholars Academy, the KP Nurse Scholar can choose to continue in the program self-funded. At that time all program tuition becomes the responsibility of the KP Nurse Scholar. A Kaiser Permanente employee discount for the program may still apply at that time if the KP Nurse Scholar is still employed by Kaiser Permanente.
