ANCC Success Pays Certification Vouchers Now Available!
The Nurse Scholars Academy is offering pre-paid certification exam vouchers through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Success Pays Program. Vouchers are available to Kaiser Permanente NCAL nurses on a first-come, first-served basis.
To receive a certification voucher, applicants must:
- Be a first-time certification applicant
- Be a KP NCAL RN
- Be pursuing a certification covered under the ANCC Success Pays Program.

Please note that vouchers can’t be retroactively applied and must be redeemed when scheduling an exam through ANCC.

Available BCEN Certification Voucher Program
The Permanente Medical Group is pleased to announce that BCEN certification exam vouchers are available to eligible Emergency Department nurses in support of their professional growth and certification success.

Financial assistance
- Represented nurses in Northern California are eligible to have approved national certifications (and recertifications) reimbursed. Nurses are able to submit eligible exam expenses related to certification for reimbursement per the collective bargaining agreement between Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association through the Reimbursement for National Certification Toolkit. For questions about the toolkit please contact Earvin Ledi (earvin.ledi@kp.org).
- In addition, nurses may use their National Tuition Reimbursement benefit to take certification preparation courses that provide continuing education units. For questions, contact national-tra@kp.org.
