Applications are now open for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program

The Nurse Scholars Academy is excited to announce that applications are now open for two Fall 2019 cohorts for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program through the University of San Francisco (USF) for eligible candidates (see eligibility below). The curriculum prepares nurses to lead interprofessional care teams at the micro-system (unit) level, supporting innovation, transformation, and performance excellence in the delivery of compassionate care within complex macrosystems.

Eligible candidates must be KFH/HP non-represented, benefited (20+ hours) registered nurse leaders in Northern California. The MSN classes typically consist of face to face classes one day per week for approximately 4 hours and additional online work.  One cohort will meet in the Regional Offices in Oakland, and the other will meet at USF’s campus in Pleasanton.

  • The application period is now open until May 17, 2019, at 11:45 p.m. or until maximum capacity is reached.
